Cats run out deserving winners in intermediate final

Kilkenny intermediates ran out deserving winners in their Leinster final against Dublin at Nowlan Park on Saturday. Michael Grace who came on as a sub scored 6 super points from play to help his side to victory. It was tit for tat throughout with the game resulting in extra time. However, Kilkenny’s strength and stamina proved to be the real difference as the clock ticked down in added time. Well-taken points from Michael Grace, Patrick Hogan and Niall Walsh all added to the difference. The Dubs kept the pressure on until the final whistle but the Cats held on to record a deserved victory. They will now face Galway in the semi-final in Tullamore this Saturday.
